CISF Unit ASG Delhi conducts anti-hijacking mock exercise
NEW DELHI, June 3, 2026 — Central Industrial Security Force Unit ASG Delhi conducted an Anti-Hijacking Mock Exercise under the supervision of Commandant Ravish Kumar Singh, along with other senior officers, to assess preparedness, response mechanisms, and coordination during an aviation security contingency.
The drill simulated a realistic hijacking scenario involving the takeover of an aircraft, with a bus utilized to replicate operational conditions.
The exercise witnessed coordinated action by CISF Quick Reaction Team personnel, the Dog Squad, and Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad teams, ensuring a swift, structured, and effective response in accordance with established standard operating procedures.
