Katra (VD) 13 September :- Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has announced the postponement of the pilgrimage to the holy shrine due to heavy rainfall in the region.
In an official communication posted on the social media platform ‘X’, the Board stated, “Jai Mata Di! Due to incessant rain at Bhawan & the track, commencement of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra scheduled from 14th Sept stands postponed till further order.”
The advisory urgently requests all devotees to reconsider their travel plans and to avoid embarking on the journey until conditions improve.
The Board has asked pilgrims to stay updated on any further developments through its official communication channels for their safety and convenience.
A new date for the commencement of the Yatra will be announced after assessing the weather and track conditions.
