JPDCL announces scheduled power shutdowns across Jammu and Samba districts
Jammu, June 23: The Chief Engineer of Distribution at the Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited has announced scheduled power outages for essential maintenance across multiple areas.
Electricity supply to the DC Office, industrial zones, Samba Town, and neighboring localities will be affected on June 24 from 6 am to 9 am. Similarly, power supply to Biaspur, Kotli, Kalyana, Sai Kalan, Khana Chak, Abdullian, Nikowal, and adjacent areas will face disruptions on June 25 from 8 am to 11:30 am.In Jammu city, the Executive Engineer of Electrical Division-I at JPDCL Parade has notified residents that power supply to Patel Nagar, Mandir Right, Link Road, Near Central Basic School, Gali Pada, Mandir Wali Gali, Fattu Chougan, Dhakki Malhotra Gali, Moti Bazaar, Matador Stand, Rani Park, Post Office area, Raj Tilak Road, Kalijani, Parade, Jain Bazar, Tafi Wali Gali, Pacca Danga, Chowk Chabutra, and Pahadi Mohalla will experience daily shutdowns from June 24 to June 30. These cuts will take place between 8 am and 2 pm on an as-and-when-required basis.
Furthermore, the Superintending Engineer for the O&M Circle-III at JPDCL Batote stated that electricity supply near the Arnas Police Station will be temporarily disconnected on June 25 and June 26 from 6 am to 10 am. Additionally, areas surrounding Yogya Shala Sai Shirdi will experience a scheduled power outage on June 24 from 7:30 am to 10:30 am to facilitate necessary infrastructure repairs.
