KPDCL announces scheduled power shutdowns across several areas
Srinagar, June 23: The Chief Engineer of Distribution at the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited has announced scheduled maintenance power shutdowns affecting several lines over the coming days.
The 33 kV Kanipora-Pinjoora line will face a outage from 08 AM to 02 PM on June 29, disrupting power supply to Pinjoora, Puhnoo, Trenz, Mohanpora, Imamsahab, Kiloora, Arhama, Zawoora, Chodrigund, Reshinagar, Vehil, Palpora, Benimpora, and adjoining areas. A similar shutdown of the 33 kV Kanipora-Batapora line on June 28 from 08 AM to 02 PM will affect Gagren, Sharathpora, Shopian Town, Memender, Habidipora, Sedow, Herpora, Batapora, Hotline Town, Devpora Mini Secretariat Shopian, and neighboring localities. On June 30, the 33 kV Kanipora-Keller line will be turned off between 08 AM and 02 PM, impacting Keller, Gatipora, Mohsward, Maspora, Kathanhalan, Nadpora, Balapora, Drabgam, Shadimarg, Sangerwani, and Dompora.Additional maintenance work will impact the 33 kV Lassipora-Reshipora and 33 kV Lassipora-Landoora lines, leading to power supply disruptions in Chitragam, Nagbal, Zainapora, Reban, Awnera, Aglar, Sugan, Turkewangam, Moolu, Landoora, Hermain, DK Pora, Hajipora, Mantribugh, Nadigam, Chakoora, Ratnipora, Dangam, Wangam, Wachi, Babapora, Safnagri, and surrounding regions from 08 AM to 02 PM on June 24 and June 30.
Furthermore, shutdowns on the 33 kV Awantipora Sangam-II line on June 28 and June 30 from 08 AM to 02 PM will cut power to Siamoh, K-Koot, Kiagam, Hariparigam, Chakoora, Gulzarpora, Panzga, Railway, and adjoining sectors.In other districts, the 33 KV Kulgam DH Pora line will undergo a shutdown on June 27 from 08 AM to 02 PM, affecting electricity services in DH Pora, Ahmadabad, Aharibal, Bhatipora, Hospital, KB Pora, Nagam, Khull, Gopalpora, Nillow, Arreh, Begam, Sehpora, and surrounding areas. Lastly, the 33 KV Badampora-Safapora Tapline will be switched off on June 24 from 08 AM to 02 PM, causing scheduled power outages in Safapora, Gratbal, Jarkobagh, Manasbal, and nearby localities.
