Air Chief Marshal AP Singh reviews operational readiness at Gandhinagar conference

GANDHINAGAR, June 19, 2026 — Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal AP Singh presided over the South Western Air Command Commanders’ Conference held in Gandhinagar today.

During the high-level meeting, the Air Chief Marshal commended the command’s operational readiness, infrastructure development, and recent innovations aimed at strengthening defense capabilities.

He strongly emphasized the continuous need for rigorous training, strict discipline, aerospace safety, and the strategic integration of emerging warfighting technologies to effectively meet future security challenges.

As part of the conference proceedings, the Air Chief Marshal released the Exercise Vayushakti video along with an exclusive coffee table book, and awarded trophies to various units for their outstanding operational excellence.
