Sainik School Purulia wins hockey championship in Bhubaneswar
BHUBANESWAR, June 16, 2026 – The Under-15 Boys Hockey Team from Sainik School Purulia has emerged as the champions at the All India Sainik Schools Inter Group Hockey Tournament 2026 held in Bhubaneswar.
This stellar performance has secured the team a qualification spot for the prestigious Nehru Sub-Junior Hockey Tournament.Adding to the institution’s accolades, the Under-17 Girls Hockey Team also delivered an impressive performance at the tournament, securing a third-place finish.
