Indian Crew Members of Attacked MT Jalveer Being Repatriated Home
MUSCAT, June 15, 2026 – Following the attack on MT Jalveer on June 11 in the Strait of Hormuz, the twenty Indian crew members on the vessel are being repatriated to India from Muscat.
The crew members were safely evacuated ashore in coordination with Omani authorities after the incident took place.
The Ambassador of India to Oman shared photos on the social media platform X showing his interaction with the crew members ahead of their departure.
The ambassador stated that the embassy remains committed to extending prompt assistance and support to Indian nationals in distress, ensuring their welfare and safe return home.
