Trump Slams Iran Over Leaked Peace Terms and Condemns ‘Unacceptable’ Drone Attack on Indian Ships

WASHINGTON JUNE 12,2026 — U.S. President Donald Trump has fiercely rejected a draft peace agreement published by Iranian state media, accusing Tehran of leaking false terms that bear no relation to actual written agreements meant to end the ongoing regional conflict.

In a blunt social media statement, President Trump dismissed Tehran’s characterization of the negotiations as “weak and pathetic,” asserting that the leaked information has absolutely nothing to do with what was mutually agreed upon in writing. Calling the Iranian leadership “very dishonorable people” who fail to deal in good faith, the President also strongly condemned an overnight drone strike targeting commercial vessels. He explicitly warned Tehran that the completely rebuffed drone attack against Indian ships leaving the strategic Strait of Hormuz was “totally unacceptable” and demanded that Iran correct its actions immediately.
