Indian Military Academy Hosts Historic Commandant Parade Ahead of Passing Out
DEHRADUN June 11,2026 — Rain failed to dampen the spirits of the passing out course during the Commandant’s Parade held at the Indian Military Academy.
Commandant Lieutenant General Nagendra Singh complimented the officer cadets for successfully enduring the academy’s rigorous and high standards of training.The parade marked a historic milestone for the institution with the passing out of its very first batch of women officer cadets.
The commandant also highlighted the participation of foreign officer cadets, expressing hope that the bonds of friendship built during their training would help strengthen international diplomacy in the future.Addressing the future military leaders, the commandant emphasized the high expectations placed upon them as they transition into active service.
He stated that the officer cadets must make their families, the army, and the entire nation proud through their selfless conduct and dedication to duty.
