Indian Army and Disaster Relief Teams Validate Flood Response Protocols During Exercise Sarva Suraksha 2026

DIMAPUR, June 6, 2026 — The second day of the joint Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief exercise, Sarva Suraksha 2026, focused on strengthening inter-agency synergy through intensive table top and black board training simulations.

Led by the Indian Army Spear Corps, the collaborative exercise brought together personnel from the army alongside the National Disaster Response Force and the State Disaster Response Force to refine regional emergency response capabilities.During the sessions, participating teams analyzed simulated monsoon flood scenarios to evaluate communication channels and operational readiness.

The joint forces validated existing standard operating procedures and conducted comprehensive rescue rehearsals to ensure seamless coordination. These strategic planning sessions serve as critical preparation ahead of the final practical field exercises designed to establish a swift and synchronized response to real-world disaster situations.
