Mallikarjun Kharge files Rajya Sabha nomination from Karnataka in presence of Rahul Gandhi

BENGALURU June 05,2026 — All India Congress Committee President Mallikarjun Kharge filed his nomination for the Rajya Sabha elections from Karnataka at Vidhana Soudha.

Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar accompanied the party president during the filing process and extended his best wishes for Kharge’s continued journey in public service.

The high-profile event was attended by Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, former Karnataka Chief Minister and Congress Working Committee member Siddaramaiah, and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President BK Hariprasad, along with several other senior party leaders who gathered to show their support.
