National Conference delegation meets Javed Ahmed Rana to discuss Udhampur development

UDHAMPUR, May 6, 2026:- A high-level delegation from the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, led by District President Sunil Verma, met with Cabinet Minister Javed Ahmed Rana to address urgent public concerns across the Udhampur district.

The representatives, including Jawed Iqbal, Akash Verma, and Jatinder Prashar, highlighted several critical issues such as widespread drinking water shortages and specific challenges facing tribal communities.

The leaders emphasized the need for immediate government intervention to resolve civic problems affecting both rural and urban populations.During the meeting, the delegation urged the minister to accelerate ongoing developmental projects and provide focused attention to neglected areas within the district.

They stressed that timely action is essential to improve the overall quality of life for local residents. The discussion also covered various constituency-specific grievances, with the party leaders advocating for a more responsive approach to the needs of the grassroots population.

Minister Javed Ahmed Rana assured the delegation that the government would prioritize the genuine issues raised during the discussion. He reaffirmed the commitment of the administration led by Omar Abdullah to ensure equitable development and strengthen local infrastructure.
