Northern Command GOC in Chief Reviews Security and Infrastructure Projects in Ladakh

LEH, April 30, 2026:- Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Northern Command of Indian Army , conducted a comprehensive visit to the forward areas of Ladakh to evaluate the current security situation and the progress of essential development projects.

During the visit, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief interacted with the personnel stationed in the high-altitude region, praising their exceptional professionalism and high morale despite the demanding environmental conditions.

His visit underscores the military’s focus on maintaining high levels of operational readiness along the northern borders.In addition to reviewing security protocols, the GOC in Chief inaugurated several new infrastructure projects designed to significantly improve troop sustainment and operational mobility in the rugged terrain.
