Air Marshal S Shrinivas Reviews Training and Operational Readiness at Air Force Station Hakimpet
Secunderabad, April 26, 2026:-Air Marshal S Shrinivas, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Training Command, concluded a two-day visit to Air Force Station Hakimpet spanning April 24 to 25.
Accompanied by Sunita Shrinivas, President of the Air Force Families Welfare Association (Regional), the Air Marshal was received by the Air Officer Commanding and honored with a ceremonial Guard of Honour.
The visit focused on a comprehensive evaluation of the station’s core functions, including a detailed review of flying training programs, maintenance protocols, and administrative activities to ensure the facility continues to meet the Indian Air Force’s rigorous standards.
During his inspection, the AOC-in-C assessed key infrastructure and underscored the station’s vital role in sustaining high levels of operational preparedness.
Demonstrating a hands-on approach to the review, the Air Marshal flew a sortie in a Kiran aircraft before engaging in discussions with Qualified Flying Instructors, trainees, and station personnel.
In his address to the troops, Air Marshal Shrinivas emphasized the importance of nurturing professional, combat-ready pilots capable of navigating future aerial challenges.
He further commended the personnel for their commitment to maintaining legacy fleets and reminded the team that uncompromising safety and training excellence remain the cornerstones of their mission.
