Samba Police Hold Anti Drug Awareness and New Criminal Laws Session at GHSS Vijaypur
VIJAYPUR, April 16, 2026:-Samba Police organized a comprehensive anti-drug awareness program at Government Higher Secondary School Vijaypur as part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Abhiyan initiative. The event saw a large turnout of students and faculty members who engaged in discussions regarding the severe social, psychological, and physical health impacts of substance abuse.
Police officers encouraged the youth to reject narcotics and embrace their role in creating a drug-free community, stressing that collective responsibility is vital to eradicating the menace from society.In addition to the drug prevention discourse, the session served as an educational platform to inform participants about the three new criminal laws implemented across India since July 2024.
Officers detailed the key provisions and significance of these legislative changes to enhance the students’ legal literacy.
