CRPF K9 Team Crowned Undisputed Champions at AIPDM 2026 Following Historic Medal Haul
BENGALURU, April 8, 2026 — The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) K9 team received a hero’s welcome upon their return to the Dog Breeding and Training School (DBTS) in Taralu after a dominant performance at the All India Police Duty Meet (AIPDM) 2026.
Cementing their reputation as the nation’s premier canine unit, the team secured the prestigious Overall Best Team Trophy by clinching an impressive tally of five Gold, two Silver, and one Bronze medal.
The highlight of the competition was the exceptional performance of K9 Babi, who was individually honored with the Overall Best K9 Trophy for demonstrating unparalleled skill and discipline.
These “silent warriors” and their dedicated handlers were officially recognized for their precision and loyalty by the Minister of State for Home Affairs, Nityanand Rai, marking a significant milestone for the CRPF’s specialized K9 division in national security competitions.
