Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) Blocked Due to Massive Landslides at Digdol and Khooni Nallah

RAMBAN, April 7, 2026 — Vehicular movement on the strategic Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) has been completely suspended in both directions following a massive landslide between Digdol and Khooni Nallah.

Traffic authorities confirmed at 14:30 hrs that the road is currently impassable for commuters traveling from Jammu towards Srinagar and vice versa. As restoration efforts are underway to clear the debris, the public is strongly advised to refrain from traveling on this route until the highway is declared fully restored and safe for passage.
