DULIAJAN April 03 : The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) organized a solemn tribute to bid farewell to K9 Molly, a dedicated canine warrior who passed away after years of exemplary and loyal service.
Stationed at the CISF Unit of Oil India Limited (OIL) in Duliajan, Molly was remembered as a “silent guardian” whose career was defined by unmatched alertness, devotion, and courage in the line of operational duties. Her passing marks the end of a distinguished tenure where she stood as a steadfast protector of the nation’s vital assets.
To honor her unwavering commitment, a dignified funeral ceremony was held on April 2, 2026, attended by H. S. Sharma, Senior Commandant, along with unit officers, dedicated dog handlers, and personnel.
The ceremony was marked by deep respect as the force gathered to pay their final respects to a faithful comrade who served with the highest standards of discipline.
The brave canine was accorded full honors, including the laying of wreaths and a final salute from the unit members. As the CISF community mourns the loss of one of its most alert four-legged soldiers, they emphasized that Molly’s legacy of service and bravery will remain permanently etched in the hearts of the force.
