UDHAMPUR, July 22, 2026 — Udhampur Police have successfully cracked a construction site theft case with the arrest of two individuals and the recovery of 232 kg of stolen Iron T.M.T. rods.
Acting swiftly on a complaint registered at the Rehambal Police Station (FIR No. 192/2026 U/S 303(2) BNS) regarding materials stolen from a site in Mand, authorities launched an immediate investigation that led to the apprehension of two suspects, identified as Mohit Kumar of Akbarpur, Saharanpur, and Rinku Kumar, alias Kaka, of Mand, Udhampur.
Following their interrogation and subsequent disclosure, police not only recovered the stolen iron rods but also seized the vehicle used to commit the crime, with further investigations into the matter currently underway.
