Security forces destroy terrorist hideout during Operation Sheruwali in Rajouri

RAJOURI, May 25, 2026 — Security forces have successfully uncovered and destroyed a terrorist hideout in the Rajouri district during an ongoing anti-terror operation in the region. The breakthrough achieved by the joint forces took place during an intensive search operation in the Gambhir Muglan area.

While scouring the rugged terrain, the search parties discovered a hidden bag containing various food items, survival rations, and other essential logistics supplies meant to sustain Terrorists in the area.

The successful bust is part of a larger security grid activation under Operation Sheruwali, which was launched by security forces on May 23.

Following specific intelligence inputs regarding the movement of suspicious elements, the area was completely cordoned off by a combined team of the army and local police.
