NEW DELHI, JULY 27 — Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh introduced the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) (Amendment) Bill, 2026, in the Lok Sabha during the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament.
The proposed legislation seeks to amend the existing Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, aiming to further strengthen the nation’s legal framework against malpractice and paper leaks.
By instituting stricter measures, the bill objective is to effectively curb unfair practices, boost transparency, and preserve the ultimate integrity and meritocracy of public examinations conducted across the country.
