BARAMULLA, July 25 — Online registration for admission to Class VI in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas for the academic session 2027–28 has officially opened.
Eligible students and parents can complete their applications through the official web portals navodaya.gov.in or cbseitms.rcil.gov.in ahead of the July 31, 2026 deadline. Admission will be determined through the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test scheduled for November 28, 2026.To meet the eligibility criteria for the entrance examination, candidates must be born between May 1, 2015, and July 31, 2017, with both dates included.
School authorities have urged parents and guardians to submit application forms early and ensure all required details and documents are uploaded accurately. The registration drive aims to provide deserving students access to quality education and holistic development within the premier residential school network.
