One Dead And Eleven Injured After Passenger Bus overturns in JK’s Ramban

RAMBAN, May 19, 2026:- One passenger was killed and nearly a dozen others were injured when a passenger bus overturned on the Gool-Sangaldan road near the Sangaldan area of Ramban district on Monday.

The vehicle, bearing registration number JK02CU-7482, reportedly lost control and turned turtle along the route, leading to the immediate death of one individual on the spot and causing injuries to approximately 11 to 12 other passengers.

Following the tragic mishap, local volunteers, police personnel, and emergency rescue teams rushed to the site to launch a coordinated rescue operation.

All the injured passengers were quickly evacuated from the wreckage and shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Local authorities have taken official cognizance of the accident and initiated an investigation into the cause of the crash, with further details still awaited as the inquiry proceeds.
