Omar Abdullah visits Er Rashid residence to offer condolences on father demise

LANGATE, May 24: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah visited the residence of Member of Parliament Er Rashid and MLA Langate Khursheed Ahmed Sheikh to offer his heartfelt condolences on the passing of their father, Khizar Mohammad Sheikh.

The elder Sheikh passed away last week at the age of 85 at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, where he had been undergoing treatment for a prolonged illness.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by Minister Javid Ahmed Dar, Member of Parliament Choudhary Mohammad Ramzaan, alongside several legislators and other dignitaries.

During the visit, the Chief Minister spent time with the grieving family members, offering words of comfort and solidarity during this difficult period.

He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed deep sympathy for the family, wishing them strength and patience to bear the irreparable loss.
