Meghalaya Chief Minister inaugurates relocated 41 Meghalaya Battalion NCC office in Tura to boost youth development

TURA, MAY 19, 2026Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Tuesday officially inaugurated the newly relocated 41 Meghalaya Battalion NCC office at Cherangre in Tura.

The inauguration marks a strategic step forward in expanding the reach of the National Cadet Corps across the Garo Hills region, creating substantial growth opportunities for local youth.

Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma emphasized the enduring value of the organization, noting that the NCC continues to play a vital role in shaping leadership, discipline, patriotism, and resilience.
