Madhya Bharat Area hosts mega ex-servicemen rally in Jabalpur

JABALPUR, June 19, 2026 — A state-level ex-servicemen rally and veterans outreach programme conducted under the aegis of Headquarters Madhya Bharat Area in Jabalpur brought together nearly 700 veterans, Veer Naris, Veer Matas, and their families.

The event provided a comprehensive, single-window platform for grievance redressal, pension assistance, SPARSH support, and ECHS facilitation, while also spreading awareness about various welfare schemes.

The initiative successfully reaffirmed the commitment to selfless and just service for the entire veteran fraternity.The rally was graced by Lieutenant General HS Vandra, General Officer Commanding Madhya Bharat Area, Vivek Tankha, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), and other distinguished dignitaries. During the event, Veer Naris, Veer Matas, and distinguished achievers were felicitated for their immense courage, resilience, and contributions to society.

The program successfully reinforced the enduring bond between the Indian Army and its veterans, ensuring that the community remains connected, supported, and cared for throughout their lives under the guiding principle of once a soldier, always a soldier.
