Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha inspects Amarnath Ji Shrine Board Yatri Niwas in Srinagar

SRINAGAR, May 18, 2026 :- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha conducted an on-site inspection today to review the ongoing construction works and pilgrim facilities at the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board Yatri Niwas located at Pantha Chowk in Srinagar.

During the visit, the Lieutenant Governor interacted with project officials and directed them to expedite progress, emphasizing that all pending works must be completed well before the commencement of the annual Shri Amarnathji yatra.

He also reviewed the dedicated preparations and arrangements for an upcoming sound and light show centered around Baba Barfani.

A team of senior officers accompanied the Lieutenant Governor during the inspection, including Mandeep K. Bhandari, Chief Executive Officer of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board; Mukesh Garg, Board Member; Rajiv Pandey, DIG CKR; GV Sundeep Chakravarthy, SSP Srinagar; and Akshay Labroo, Deputy Commissioner of Srinagar.
