The director gathered district-wise updates regarding waterlogging, potential crop damage, and the readiness of field staff, stressing the need for close coordination with local district administrations to safeguard vulnerable agricultural zones.
To protect farming communities from potential losses, all field officers and machinery have been placed on high alert for immediate field deployment. The department directed officials to carry out swift, on-ground damage assessments wherever standing crops or farmland are impacted, ensuring rapid relief and protective measures are implemented without delay.
