SRINAGAR, July 25 — The Meteorological Centre in Srinagar has issued an updated weather advisory predicting widespread rainfall across Jammu and Kashmir over the next week. Currently, rainfall is being reported from several areas in the region, with the ongoing precipitation spell in Kashmir and Jammu divisions likely to continue intermittently through late afternoon before weather conditions gradually improve.
For July 26 and July 27, the weather office forecasts one to two spells of rain or thundershowers at many locations across the union territory. Isolated spots in the Jammu division are expected to witness brief, intense showers, particularly during the early morning, afternoon, and evening hours.
A fresh wet spell is expected between July 28 and July 31, during which light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely at most places across Jammu and Kashmir. Severe spells and heavy rainfall are also anticipated in select districts of the Jammu division during late night, early morning, and late afternoon hours.
