Jammu and Kashmir government announces summer vacations for Jammu schools from June 1
SRINAGAR, MAY 23 — Education Minister Sakeena Itoo announced today that summer vacations for schools operating in the summer zone of the Jammu division will begin in early June, keeping in view the prevailing weather conditions.
According to the official announcement, vacation for primary classes will commence on June 1, 2026, while classes 6th to 12th will observe their summer break starting June 8, 2026.
The minister extended well wishes to all the students for a safe and enjoyable vacation period.
