Indian Army soldiers undergo advanced drone warfare training at 1 STC under Madhya Bharat Area
JABALPUR, May 17 — Under the aegis of Headquarters Madhya Bharat Area, soldiers underwent intensive training in advanced drone operations at 1 STC to enhance their technical proficiency and operational effectiveness in next-generation unmanned systems.
The specialized training curriculum included comprehensive simulator-based flying, hands-on drone assembly practice, live obstacle-crossing drills at the dedicated drone range, real-time drone integration, and advanced 3D printing applications aimed at fostering indigenous innovation.
During the training program, soldiers mastered the operational handling and deployment of a wide array of unmanned aerial systems, including nano drones, mini drones, FPV drones, quadcopters, hexacopters, and fiber-laying drones.
This extensive exposure directly strengthens the capabilities of the force in vital areas such as surveillance, communication support, precision flying, and battlefield adaptability across diverse operational scenarios.
