LUCKNOW — JULY 13, 2026: In alignment with the environmental campaign “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam,” a major tree plantation drive was organized at the 11 Gorkha Rifles Regimental Centre at Lucknow Station.
Station Commander Brigadier Rakesh Mishra led the initiative alongside officers and soldiers, planting saplings to send a strong message of environmental conservation. During the event, all participants took a solemn pledge to actively contribute to nature preservation and plant more trees to build a green, clean, and sustainable future.
This initiative highlights that the Indian Army is not only deeply committed to securing the nation’s borders but is also actively participating in national campaigns to ensure a cleaner, healthier planet for future generations.
