Indian Army and disaster response forces conduct joint mock rescue drill in Kota
KOTA, May 18, 2026 :- The Indian Army, National Disaster Response Force, State Disaster Response Force, and the local civil administration conducted a joint mock Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief exercise in the areas adjoining the Chambal River in Kota.
The training drills focused on executing joint aerial and boat reconnaissance, managing swift rescue and evacuation operations, and streamlining communication networks among the different agencies.
The primary aim of the exercise was to ensure seamless coordination and preparation for carrying out a swift and effective response during real-time disaster situations.
