Huge weapons recovery as joint forces bust Terrorist hideout in Baramulla
BARAMULLA, May 24, 2026 :- Security forces achieved a major success in North Kashmir today by recovering a significant cache of explosive ammunition during a joint operation in the Baramulla district.
The joint operation was launched in the Nilsar Kandi area following specific intelligence inputs regarding the presence of Terrorist-related material hidden in the locality.The search operation was carried out jointly by the Baramulla Police, 52 Rashtriya Rifles, and the Central Reserve Police Force.
During the thoroughly planned search of the suspected Terrorist hideout, security forces uncovered a substantial supply of heavy weaponry, including fourteen rounds of OG-7V Rocket Propelled Grenade ammunition and nine rounds of PG-7P Rocket Propelled Grenade ammunition.
