Gajraj Corps conducts joint civil military flood relief exercise in Assam
GUWAHATI, May 24: The Gajraj Corps of the Indian Army conducted a two-day joint civil-military coordination flood relief exercise on the Brahmaputra River in Assam to strengthen disaster response capabilities.
The comprehensive drill brought together multiple stakeholders, including the Indian Army, National Disaster Response Force, State Disaster Response Force, State Police, civil administration, and local village panchayats.
The collaborative initiative focused on enhancing operational preparedness, streamline communication channels, and foster greater synergy among different agencies to ensure a swift and effective response during seasonal flood emergencies in the region.
