Free healthcare camp by Assam Rifles benefits 135 residents in remote Arunachal Pradesh border town
CHANGLANG, May 20, 2026 :- The Changlang Battalion of Assam Rifles organized a comprehensive medical camp in Changlang, Arunachal Pradesh, to address the healthcare needs of local residents in remote border areas.
The initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of the force to ensure the welfare and well-being of communities living in challenging terrains with limited access to modern medical facilities.
A dedicated medical team led by the Assam Rifles Medical Officer, alongside doctors from the District Hospital in Changlang, conducted the single-day camp.
The medical personnel provided free consultations, health screenings, and expert medical advice to all attendees.
Essential healthcare services were successfully extended to a total of 135 local men, women, and children during the community outreach program.
