DG NCC Virendra Vats meets Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to strengthen youth engagement in Jammu and Kashmir

SRINAGAR, May 26, 2026 — National Cadet Corps Director General Lieutenant General Virendra Vats, accompanied by Major General Anupinder Bevli, the Additional Director General of the NCC Directorate for Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh, called on Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today.

During the meeting, the senior military officials and the Chief Minister discussed various avenues for further strengthening the outreach of the National Cadet Corps and expanding youth engagement initiatives across the Union Territory.
