Delhi airport counter terrorism mock exercise tests security preparedness

NEW DELHI, June 22, 2026 — The Central Industrial Security Force conducted a joint counter-terrorist mock exercise at Delhi Airport to test and improve emergency response procedures.

Under the supervision of Commandant Ravish Kumar Singh, the drill focused on assessing operational readiness and enhancing coordinated responses to potential security threats at the aviation hub.

The security exercise involved active participation from multiple key agencies, including the Central Industrial Security Force, Delhi Police, National Security Guard, Delhi Fire Service, Delhi International Airport Limited, Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, and the Airports Authority of India.

The joint operation successfully demonstrated seamless inter-agency coordination and operational synergy among the forces, ensuring safer skies through a unified and coordinated response strategy.
