CM Omar Abdullah Meets Multiple Delegations to Ensure Redressal of Public Grievances
JAMMU, APRIL 17: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah held a series of meetings today with legislators, professional delegations, and individual citizens at his office to discuss various public and institutional concerns.
During the interaction, former minister and legislator Abdul Majid Wani, alongside former legislator Chaman Lal from Ramban, brought forward several critical issues affecting their respective constituencies.
The Chief Minister also met with a delegation from the Jammu and Kashmir Chapter of the Indian Institute of Architects, led by Chairman Vikas Dubey, who raised specific concerns regarding recent amendments made to the Unified Building Bye-Laws.
Further discussions took place with the Jammu University Teachers Association, represented by its President, Professor Ravinder Singh, who highlighted matters specifically concerning the academic and teaching fraternity.
In addition to these formal groups, the Chief Minister interacted with several individuals who sought his personal intervention to resolve private grievances.
After providing a patient hearing to all participants, the Chief Minister assured the visitors that his administration is committed to a time-bound and priority-based resolution of all genuine issues raised during the session.
This exercise is part of the government’s ongoing effort to maintain direct contact with the public and ensure efficient governance across the region.
