Chief Minister Omar Abdullah distributes regularisation orders to school education workers
SRINAGAR, May 25, 2026 — Chief Minister Omar Abdullah officially handed over regularisation orders to Contingent Paid Workers of the School Education Department during a special function held at the Civil Secretariat today. The event marked a major milestone for the casual laborers who have been seeking job security within the administration.
Minister for School Education Sakina Itoo attended the ceremony alongside senior bureaucrats, including Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Dheeraj Gupta, Special Secretary of School Education Ghulam Rasool Mir, and Director of School Education Kashmir Naseer Ahmed Wani.
During the event, the Chief Minister individually distributed the official regularisation orders to the workers arriving from the Ganderbal and Bandipora districts, offering them his best wishes for their future career paths in government service.
Omar Abdullah emphasized that the newly regularised employees must now work with renewed sincerity, deep commitment, and dedication to strengthen the School Education Department and elevate public service delivery standards across Jammu and Kashmir.
