Census 2027 self enumeration awareness rally held in Akhnoor as campaign kicks off to encourage public participation
JAMMU, May 17 — In pursuance of official government directives, a Census 2027 Self-Enumeration awareness rally was conducted today in the Akhnoor Main Market under the supervision of the Charge Officer for Urban Census 2027 Akhnoor.
The public campaign was officially flagged off by MLA Akhnoor Mohan Lal with the primary objective of achieving 100 percent self-enumeration coverage across the Akhnoor urban area.
Prominent citizens and members of the Municipal Council actively participated in the drive, appealing directly to residents to ensure robust public involvement in this critical national census exercise.
During the awareness drive, citizens were informed about the dedicated Self-Enumeration Portal and encouraged to complete their digital data submission within the stipulated timeframe.
In a notable development related to the census campaign, the self-enumeration process for Param Vir Chakra awardee Captain Bana Singh was also successfully completed at his residence in R.S. Pura by the designated Census Charge Officer for that area, highlighting the administrative push to include prominent national heroes in the ongoing digital exercise.
