BUDGAM, JULY 22: Police in Budgam launched an extensive district-wide operation, detaining over 200 suspects as part of proactive preventive security measures. The individuals taken into custody across all police stations and posts include suspected terrorist associates, over ground workers, miscreants, and individuals linked to drug offenses under the NDPS Act.
Authorities conducted wide-ranging raids at multiple locations to dismantle support networks, deny operational space to anti-national elements, and subject the detained persons to sustained questioning.
Security measures have been significantly intensified throughout the district to safeguard the public and maintain order. Police have deployed additional personnel at vulnerable locations, reinforced security checkpoints, and expanded area domination patrols alongside heightened surveillance.
