JAMMU JULY 13, 2026 — Alert Border Security Force (BSF) personnel deployed at the Bobiya Border Outpost (82 Battalion) successfully thwarted an illegal border crossing along the International Border (IB) on Sunday afternoon.
At approximately 1:30 PM on July 12, security forces spotted an elderly Pakistani national crossing the IB and entering Indian territory. Despite receiving two to three verbal warnings from the border guards to halt, the individual ignored the commands and continued advancing forward.
In response to the non-compliance, BSF personnel stationed , located opposite Border Pillar fired a warning shot into the air, prompting the Pakistani national to immediately retreat back to the Pakistani side.
