Border Roads Organisation conducts medical camp and health awareness drive in Great Nicobar
GREAT NICOBAR, May 22, 2026 — Project Pushpak of the Border Roads Organisation organized a comprehensive health awareness and medical camp at the southernmost medical inspection room of India in Great Nicobar.
The initiative provided vital healthcare services to Border Roads Organisation personnel, casual paid labourers, and local residents, who benefited from general medical check-ups and visual acuity screenings.
Alongside the medical examinations, the camp focused heavily on preventative healthcare by conducting educational awareness sessions on vector-borne diseases like malaria and dengue, promoting essential daily hygiene practices, and highlighting the harmful health effects of supari consumption.
