Assam Rifles conducts weapon training and firing cadre for NCC cadets in Manipur
IMPHAL, May 17, 2026 :- Assam Rifles conducted a four-day weapon training and firing practice cadre for cadets of the 1st Manipur Air Squadron NCC at Keithelmanbi Garrison in the Imphal West district.
The training capsule ran from May 13 to May 16, 2026, and was organized to fulfill the core requirements of the mandatory institutional training curriculum prescribed for NCC cadets nationwide.
The primary focus of the event was to impart essential marksmanship and weapon handling skills to the participating youth.The specialized cadre was supplemented by institutional efforts to create awareness about the Indian Army and various security forces.
By engaging the cadets in structured military disciplines, the initiative aimed to motivate the regional youth toward higher standards of personal discipline, patriotism, and active nation-building.
The successful completion of the firing practice marked another step in empowering the next generation of leadership in the region through structured security training.
