Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Air Marshal Manish Khanna reviews operational preparedness at Sulur Air Force Station
SULUR, May 20, 2026 :- Air Marshal Manish Khanna, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Southern Air Command, visited the Air Force Station at Sulur in Tamil Nadu to evaluate its current state of readiness.
Upon his arrival at the strategic base, the commander was received by senior officials and presented with a traditional ceremonial Guard of Honour.
During the visit, the Air Marshal attended detailed briefings focusing on the station’s operational preparedness, ongoing infrastructural development projects, and various welfare initiatives implemented for personnel.
He reviewed the overall security ecosystem and urged the personnel to maintain high standards of alertness and dedication to safeguard the airspace.
