Full dress rehearsal held with Patriotic fervor ahead of Independence Day 2025 in Kishtwar

Kishtwar, 13 August :- The District Kishtwar witnessed a vibrant and well-coordinated full dress rehearsal today at Chowgan Ground, ahead of the Independence Day 2025 celebrations. All arrangements were in place to ensure the smooth conduct of the event, which reflected the spirit of patriotism and unity.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kishtwar, Pawan Kotwal (JKAS), accompanied by Additional Superintendent of Police Pardeep Singh,JKPS hoisted the national flag and took the salute from the parade contingents after inspecting them.

The parade was commanded by I/C Dy. SP DAR Kishtwar, Amit Kumar (JKPS).A total of 36 contingents participated in the march past, including units from J&K Police, JKAP, CRPF, CISF, IRP, Forest Protection Force, Home Guards, NCC, and school students from across the district.

Adding to the patriotic fervor, students and local artists delivered vibrant cultural performances showcasing patriotic and traditional songs, which were met with enthusiastic applause from the audience. Additionally, a large number of school children actively participated in the celebrations.

On this occasion, the ADC extended warm greetings to the people of Kishtwar, emphasizing the importance of Independence Day as a reminder of the sacrifices made for the nation’s freedom.

He also highlighted various developmental milestones achieved in the district and urged all citizens to stay united and dedicated towards building a progressive India.
