Budgam, September 24, 2025:Budgam Police organized Anti-Drug Rally in Beerwah under the banner of “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.” The rally commenced from Police Station Beerwah and culminated at Townhall Beerwah.
The event was led by SHO Police Station Beerwah, Aijaz Ahmad, along with other police personnel. A large number of students, senior citizens, and members of civil society actively participated in the rally.The objective of the programme was to spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and its grave consequences on individuals and society.
During the event, officers urged youth, students, and the general public to join hands with police in the fight against drug abuse to eliminate this social evil. Students and participants carried banners and placards, raised slogans against drug abuse, and pledged to work collectively towards eradicating this menace from society.
