SAMBA, SEPTEMBER 23: The sacred Navratras commenced with divine melodies and spiritual fervor at the Chichi Mata Ji Temple as the District Administration Samba, in partnership with the Chichi Mata Mandir Committee, organized a magnificent Bhajan Sandhya last night at the revered Shrine.
The event was curated by the District Centre of the Department of Information and Public Relation (DIPR).The evening transformed into a celestial celebration as renowned artists from the prestigious J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages joined hands with talented local performers to present soul-stirring devotional bhajans. The melodious renditions created an atmosphere charged with spirituality, drawing hundreds of devotees into a collective expression of faith and reverence.
The event witnessed overwhelming participation from devotees, temple committee members, and the broader local community, all united in seeking the divine blessings of Mata Chichi Ji. The gathering exemplified the power of shared faith in bringing communities together during this holy period.
The initiative, thoughtfully curated by the District centre DIPR, served a dual purpose – preserving the rich tradition of devotional music while fostering cultural harmony across diverse communities. The opening Congregation set the tone of devotion, unity and cultural celebration that will resonate throughout the nine-day festival of Navratras.
