Jammu Police and BSF Launch Joint Search Operation in Arnia Near Border

JAMMU, August 09, 2026 — Security forces intensified surveillance efforts along border areas as Jammu Police collaborated with the 60th Battalion of the Border Security Force to execute a joint Cordon and Search Operation near Aik Nallah and Kool Kalan, falling under the jurisdiction of Arnia Police Station.

The two-hour security drive began around 6:00 PM as joint teams systematically searched approximately 10 to 15 residential houses and temporary shelters in the area. The sweep served as part of routine area domination and border region monitoring to safeguard local communities and maintain overall vigil across sensitive zones.

Authorities reported that conditions remained completely normal and peaceful throughout the duration of the exercise.
